Hello!

Quantumplations is about taking the time away from our hectic busy - and often heavily digital - lives to consider and explore the world around us.

I get very nosey and love learning more about, well, pretty much everything. Whether that is travelling to new places, trying new experiences, immersing myself in the Great Outdoors or someway - or poking around in the Internet to understand more about the questions I have been distracted by while doing those things.

However, I also find I am spending too much time at present staring at computer and phone screens mindlessly. I’m not asking enough questions and I’m learning only occassional snippets, rather than diving into a topic and changing the way I see the world.

And so, rather than me just gathering bits of information and filling my brain with interesting facts, I wanted to try an experiment: Does the act of compliling what I learn about into a (hopefully) interesting series of posts and sharing this with a wider audience help us all start to appreciate the natural world a little more? Does it help us ask more and interesting questions about things we take for granted?

I hope so, but nothing is guaranteed.

Fancy joining me on this journey?

Taking the time to dive deeper into the world around us

I am a consultant who supports not-for-profits working on the environment, community building and tech. I love learning about the world around us. This space is somewhere, outside of day-to-day work, to share what I learn and to learn from others.
